Hello and welcome to our blog for Christ. This is a place for all to gather and spend time in reflection while getting into the Word of God. We consider this a safe place to discuss our experiences through Christ and we do not exclude anyone from sharing in our expression of His love. Of course, this does not mean that we will simply ignore or glorify sin. We are enemies of the world and if you stick with us, that will become more obvious than ever before.
We think it is important to begin this blog with the most important words that could ever be mentioned to another human being, the Gospel of Jesus Christ:
All humans are born sinners and God promises that we will experience sin. In the eyes of a Holy God, not one sin is forgotten or looked over. All liars will have their part in the lake of fire.¹ Neither thieves, nor blasphemers, nor idolaters, nor fornicators will inherit the Kingdom of God.² For the wages of sin is death.³ God is paying us in death for our sins because His standard of morality is that much greater than our own. Jesus paid our debt to God by suffering on the Cross for our sake and defeating death through His resurrection. He is the only way to eternal life and in order to be born again, we must accept the free gift of Faith and repent for our sins. The day you decide to turn from sin, you have God’s promise that He will grant you a new heart with new desires, and your life will begin to dramatically change. A man without God is a dying man. A man with God is alive in Christ.
This is the beautiful free gift that God offers to every one of us. This is the Gospel.
