The future. Time is ticking and I do not know where to go. Years of tough moments, no support from anyone and multiple plans fail right in front of my eyes. Society has expectations and I have got them too. On my university campus, everyone looks like they know exactly what they are doing and where their paths are leading. It looks like they enjoy where they are going. Of course they look happy! Because they know where they are going. All I am experiencing is uncertainty, pressure and blindness. My will is strong. My dreams are strong. Yes, I would like to touch people‘s hearts and make the world a better place. But most importantly: I would like to tell people about Jesus Christ. But how am I able to do that? My family reminds me every day that I have to think realistically. Well, realistically thinking, which is going to be the right direction for me?

Sometimes, it is best to close your eyes and let God take you by your hand and have Him guide you through the darkness. In the end, His ways and His plans prevail. Learn to blindly trust Jesus.  As human beings, we see things linearly. We are limited by time, space and matter. God, however, is outside of it all. He equipped us with talents, passions but most importantly His Word as a guide. He created us with a purpose. Imagine what He has planned for you!

As being all powerful, all-knowing and all-loving, God has an overview of your life. He can see what we can not see. How many times has He intervened in your life to get you exactly where you are right now? How many times did you forget your car keys inside, had to run back to get them, left home a little late but if you had left in time, you would have endangered your life? How many times did God save you? How many times did you think of giving up, but little sparks of hope kept you going?

With every battle and every uncertainty, God our Lord is preparing you for a glorious future. Learn to blindly trust in His timing, for it is perfect. It is like closing your eyes and following His leading hand. You do not know where you are going. Here and there, you come across rocky ground. But He takes care of you, with every step that you take. Trust, that no matter what you are going to face, God will be right there with you. Equipped with the Holy Ghost in your heart, your growing knowledge and wisdom of His Holy Word, you will be able to fight every battle and stand a wonderful victory in the end. Take His hand, blindly trust. Be excited about where He will take you. Life is an adventure. And God is your best travel guide.
