Our Story
We attempt to understand the ways of Heaven by making sense of the “God winks” we are blessed with. God winks are those moments in which you feel the Spirit knocking at your heart. God oftentimes reveals miraculous things to remind us of His guiding presence.
It‘s like coming back home after a very stressful day and before you turn off the lights, you open the Bible, and it leads you directly to a passage relevant to your struggles. When we are aware, mindful, and silent enough, we can see and hear God giving us these little reminders more frequently. Then these little God winks will uncover a path we can make sense of.
If I did not have an incident with a professor of mine, that then led me to rant about it under a TikTok post, I would not be here and writing down this particular story. It was on TikTok where Joshua and I met. We talked about Covid regulations and the differences between our situations, as Joshua lives in the United States and I live in Germany. But we soon realized that our love for Christ created an incredible depth to our conversations. We shared our testimonies, how we overcame the struggles of the flesh, and how we strive to develop a steadfast fellowship with the Almighty.
This Blog
Through our conversations we noticed that there were some questions we were really glad the other could answer. As “baby Christians,” guidance from prophets, Bible scholars, evangelists, pastors, and even our fellow Christian brothers and sisters help us to grow in our spiritual walk with Christ. That led us to think: “Things we ask ourselves might be what other people ask themselves as well!” With seek to inspire others through our journal entries, that with God’s grace will provide a variety of topics to further educate ourselves and our fellow Christian. Our hope is to proclaim the Good News and help others to see how the Lord works in your lives. Additionally, we wish to relate the current events in the world to biblical teaching, and of course: give all Glory to the Creator of the Universe, The Lord Almighty, Our God, our Father who is in Heaven.
Making sense of God‘s plan require tracing His little and big winks. It is a God wink to have you here with us right now. You have been chosen for Heaven. Will you answer His call?
